Welcome to Care Advice Scotland

We recognise that it is a worrying and frustrating time as you become
aware that you or your loved-one needs support.
Â
There are so many important questions to ask:
•   Do I or my relative need care?
•   What types of care are available?
•   How do I access this care?
•   How is this care funded?
•   What support can I get as a carer?
These and many more questions will undoubtedly come to mind as you come to terms with this critical transitional period in the life of your family.Â
Care Advice Scotland came into being with the intention of offering help in answering these difficult questions and consequently reducing the worry and strain involved. As experienced health care professionals we can meet with you or your relatives to discuss your options and be with you until you find the ideal solution. The solution may be you or your relative living at home getting support from relatives and/or carers or moving into a care home.
Care Advice Scotland will be with you to help you make sense of the involved procedures which need to be followed.Â
•   Fill out forms that are needed
•   Find answers to your questions
•   Choose the best solution to meet your or your relatives long-term care needs
